Job Description
Global Infrastructure & Engineering (I&E) provides Tech Infrastructure services and tooling supporting our global engineering workforce. Within Tech I&E, the Tribe Global IT Engineering and Operations (GITEO) provides the end-to-end Engineering Journey for our awesome Engineers, to ensure they can securely design, plan, code, build, deploy, test, run and monitor their product(s) and/or service(s).
The team
The Tribe GITEO comprises three Global Areas:

Global Operations – containing the GMCR (Global Monitoring Control Room), GMIM (Global Monitoring and Incident Management) and the Global ServiceNow platform.

Global Monitoring – delivering the Global Monitoring Data Pipeline (MDPL)
-
Global Engineering – providing the One Pipeline CI/CD platform.
-
Global Engineering Experience – enabling productization, quality, adoption and evolution of tools and platforms that comprise the global offering.
The GITEO Tribe is looking to recruit a Product Manager within the Global Engineering Experience Area reporting to the IT Area Lead and Chief Product Owner. With your pragmatic and delivery-oriented professional attitude, you put your background and experience to effective use as Product Owner.
Together with the squad, the IT Area Lead and the CPO, you set the goals and work on a technical strategy to achieve those goals. You take ownership for the agreed solution ensuring that solutions delivered meet customer and business needs whilst adhering to legal, risk and compliance requirements of the bank.
You will not be HR responsible for the engineers in the squad, because that responsibility lies with the chapter leads that we have in the Netherlands and Poland.
Role and Responsibilities
Together with the squad you are responsible for the future of the Power-Bi offering and for staying within our risk appetite:

Providing clarity to the team with clear goals.

Manage risk on the service/product you provide.

Manage the delivery roadmap of the product, which will require alignment with other stakeholders and customers across multiple locations.

Take ownership of the product backlog by prioritizing features and user stories to deliver the most value to our consumers

Keep the stakeholders informed on the Product Roadmap and the progress of the feature delivery and upcoming releases.

Promote a clear product vision which has the customer as the focus, while maintaining a standardized, secure and reliable solution.

Work together with our chapter leads to make sure the squad is staffed with the skills and people required to deliver on our commitments.

Specifically:

You have a good understanding of data engineering, data warehousing and a general view of the Azure Data Platform and its capabilities.

You are familiar with DAX queries and functions in Power BI.

Eager to learn modern technologies (like Microsoft Fabric)

You understand the value and principles of business intelligence and can explain it to non-technical stakeholders

You understand software delivery lifecycle and CI/CD practices

You have a rudimentary understanding of IT Risk and defensive coding practices.

You are familiar with regulatory landscape pertaining to data management.

You have a vision for how a modern BI practice should work and are able to articulate it and bring others along to support your ideas.

You come from a technical background, and ideally have spent a large part of your career working with or for software engineering teams.

Understanding business requirements and being able to be the bridge between IT and
business -
You have a solid command of the English language, both spoken and written.
