As a Product Manager in Wholesale Lending Services, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product’s key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Create plans for the development and delivery of data to support strategic business objectives, business operations, advanced analytics, metrics and reporting  
  • Develop relationships with product data delivery partners and data consumers – Business, Technology, Analytics, Operations, Risk and Control functions and ensure understanding of the data and its use
  • Provide subject matter expertise with respect to the content / use of data in the product and associated business area while understanding end to end business needs and building real time data solutions
  • Manage / develop data visualization solutions utilizing Tableau, QLIK and Alteryx that provides intuitive insights to our key stakeholders
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with varying levels of leadership, complete detailed project planning utilizing JIRA to record planned project execution steps and lead conceptual technical discussion with data engineering partners
  • Conduct thorough control testing of each component of the solution providing evidence that all data and visualization are providing accurate insights and evidence in the control process/ validate with stakeholders
  • Identify the scope of critical data within their product, ensuring that the prioritized data is well-documented, and classified accordingly with metadata 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • 7+ years of overall experience working in data analytics / business intelligence teams 
  • Demonstrated ability to think beyond raw data to understand the underlying business context and identify business opportunities hidden in data
  • Experience in use of project management tools like JIRA, Confluence
  • 5+ years experience developing advanced data visualization and presentations preferably with Tableau and Qlik
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and partners from a variety of business functions
  • Experience with business intelligence analytic and data wrangling tools such as Alteryx, SAS, or Python
  • Experience in designing and delivering cross functional custom reporting solutions
