Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in communications or public relations, including agency, internal communications.
  • Experience designing and developing engaging multi-media content (e.g., video, graphics, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Understanding of all facets of communications, including social media, corporate materials (i.e., fact sheets, speeches, presentations, web content), and multimedia development.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment with effective attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence and build partnerships at all levels, with excellent executive presence and professional skills.
  • Ability to grow in ambiguity, quickly learn new skills, and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, grammar, proofreading, and storytelling skills to craft compelling written and visual content.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating and implementing communications programs that engage and inform the global members of the Machine Learning Systems and Cloud AI (MSCA) organization. You will collaborate with the larger MSCA communications team and key members of the MSCA Leadership team to support long term communication deliverables, including coordinating content, logistics and speakers for strategic internal events, helping to drive forward MSCA culture, inspiring and aligning the team around MSCA’s mission and key focus areas.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic input to the MSCA Communications team and Chief of Staff Office on messaging, tone, and positioning that resonates with the diverse global organization.
  • Develop compelling messages, campaigns, and materials to communicate key business strategies, celebrate accomplishments, and energize the organization.
  • Own project delivery, managing complex plans and ensuring timely execution.
  • Drive creative discussions, develop concepts, and leverage multimedia expertise to create engaging and interactive content across various platforms.
  • Analyze audience insights and feedback, leveraging data to refine communication strategies and plans. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to large scale organizations.
