Project Manager (Data Analytics)

What it’s about
Based in Partners Group’s fast-growing Manila office, this position is a central point of contact for data requests and data governance responsibilities. The role has been designed to fit the firm’s ambition to implement, maintain and continuously modernize state-of-the-art system and process framework dedicated to client relationship management, client onboarding and client engagement.
You will work closely to support the client relationship team to process a high volume of client data requests. This involves coordinat-ing between specialist teams to procure the relevant data (Quantitative and Risk Management, investment teams, asset class experts) while utilizing internal quantitative tools/business intelligence software and then seamlessly integrating the data to generate high quality client responses. The role requires someone with excellent attention to detail, a quantitative mindset and advanced Excel skills. An entrepreneurial approach is also highly desired.
The role will be part of the Business Management, Tools & Data team in the Manila office.

What we expect
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, mathematics/science, financial management, business administration or marketing
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial industry or an accounting firm
- Advanced Excel skills are required; basic knowledge of SQL Database queries is necessary
- Ability to translate manual data analytics into requirements for automation in a Client Relationship Management system
- Ability to read, understand and debug computational codes and queries is a plus
- Project management skills and the ability to deliver on multiple workstreams under tight deadlines (time management) while maintaining a high standard is essential
- Experience with a Client Relationship Management software (e.g. DealCloud) is an advantage
- Experience with a Business Intelligence software (e.g. QlikSense) is preferred but not required
- Experience in creating visually appealing slides for senior stakeholders is expected
- An understanding of the financial industry (ideally private markets) is a requirement
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Extreme attention to detail and the ability to manage large amounts of data while producing quality output
- Must work well in a team environment, excellent interpersonal skills to engage senior professionals and liaise with global teams across the firm
- Passionate and entrepreneurial to bring in your own initiatives and improve existing content and processes
