If so, we are looking for a talented forward-thinking individual who is highly motivated with a flexible approach, to lead a multi-functional team in the successful delivery of the Corporate Asset Management Plan and to help us further develop and strengthen our Asset Management systems for the organisation. 
 

About the Role…

As the Property Data Manager and through an understanding of the business and its operations you will:

  • play a key role to ensure the delivery of robust data analysis to enable the service to act with confidence in making effective evidence-based decisions and managing risk. 
  • work closely with other managers to understand their data needs and use this knowledge to drive service improvements. 
  • lead and be accountable for all aspects of the Data Management and Information Team, responsible for GIS Mapping, AutoCAD, Property Asset Management, Systems Administration and Finance and associated other systems and compliance.

You will lead on and be responsible for:

  • Property and Asset Management Software systems (PAMS) and processes to provide high quality data and ensure the systems stay flexible to adapt to change.
  • Driving forward and co-ordinating the on-going development of PAMS systems in line with the strategic and operational needs and the Suppliers development roadmap to ensure that LCC leverage the maximum opportunities available from systems used in the department
  • Seeking innovation and Business improvement across all areas of property services to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of strategic property and its data.
  • Preparation of the Corporate Asset Management Plan (CAMP) used to advise Members on strategic direction, performance of Assets operated by the Council and to meet strategic objectives.

About You

To apply for this post, you must have:

  • Qualifications or Experience in the following: 
    • Degree or equivalent in Quantitative / Analytical skills in Information Management or Substantial Experience at a high level in managing data collection, management analysis and reporting.
    • Management of an effective Team
  • Experience of operation and management of Property Asset Management software systems and of procuring software and involvement in development, implementation and utilisation of IT systems
  • Ability to manage a multi-functional team of staff
  • Experience of working with others to define requirements for service improvement and identify improvements or changes required to support business development
  • Experience of budgeting and account management and a high-level of understanding of property asset management at strategic and operational level.
  • Experience of data insight and developing new data sets for effective asset management, key performance management measures and to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability to be flexible to meet changing demands and good communication skills to develop and support individuals and teams to meet objectives.   An analytical focus to enable data interrogation and accurate reporting to inform targeted decisions
