As the Party Reference Data Operations team lead at JPMorganChase, you are crucial in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of reference data across various Lines of Business (LOBs). Your role involves supervising data management and maintenance, guaranteeing adherence to firm standards and regulatory requirements, managing data quality exceptions, and providing support services for internal and external stakeholders. To excel, you must lead by example, foster a collaborative team environment, maintain open communication with stakeholders, enforce robust data governance policies, leverage advanced data management tools, invest in continuous team training, and monitor performance through key indicators.
Job Description
- Perform data analysis, research, and remediation functions as per requirements.
- Validate and diligently review documentation.
- Maintain a high accuracy level in tasks processed.
- Ensure the procedural guidelines are followed without any misses.
- Proactively resolve open issues and escalations, keeping management in the loop.
- Liaise and partner with requestors/business partners as required.
- Maintain and produce MIS reports as required..
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- You must have a Bachelor’s degree or above
- Must have at least 5+ years of experience in financial services or related industries, including Reference Data or similar functions.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and support the function.
- Manage effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Have end-to-end Reference Data Remediation experience.
- Exhibit good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Be proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Show attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Adopt a change/automation mindset.
- Be flexible to shifts and able to deliver as part of the team.
