Tasks

Role Description

As a Reporting/Data Analyst at NVISO, you will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources to generate comprehensive reports and visualizations. You have a strong analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for solving complex problems using data.

Responsibilities / tasks

  • Develop and maintain reporting solutions to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
  • Analyze (large) datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into reporting and analysis solutions.
  • Design and create interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex data in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Conduct analysis to support business stakeholders and internal operation teams to steer their activities based on meaningful data insights.
  • Build, maintain and evolve the data-driven-decision making reporting capability. Identify opportunities to optimize data collection processes, improve data quality, and streamline reporting workflows. Manage the end to end reporting capability from data sourcing, formatting, processing to visualization and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish clear data ownership and accountability within the organization, defining roles and responsibilities for data management and integrity.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in reporting and data analysis techniques.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field, with a solid understanding of data governance principles and practices
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a reporting or data analysis role, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex data landscapes while adhering to data governance standards
  • Proficiency in data extraction (e.g. SQL, API’s) and manipulation
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and draw meaningful conclusions while ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (preferably Power BI)
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas, with a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and consistency in all reporting activities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Driving continuous improvement in data management practices and automation
