Job Description

You will be focused on explainability, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Machine Learning. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to innovate and contribute to research in the field of Data Science by: 

 

  • Assessing the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques. 
  • Developing processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
  • Identifying patterns, trends, and significant relationships within data.
  • Building custom data models and algorithms to support the business. 
  • Using predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other business outcomes. 
  • Using advanced NLP techniques to extract relevant information from unstructured text.
  • Researching and developing methods to strengthen the current models. 
  • Sharing investigation findings clearly and understandably with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinating with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest trends in Data Science and emerging technologies to propose creative and efficient solutions for specific challenges.

 

 

Your profile

 

You have a Degree, Master’s or PHD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field, and a minimum of 2 years of experience working preferably within the IT Consultancy industry.

 

  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development and innovation. 
  • Solid experience in NLP, explainability, and predictive modeling.
  • Experience using statistical computer languages (Python, R, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets. 
  • Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks. 
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques. 

 

You are curious by nature and were born with an analytical mind and a self-motivation that urges you to strive for results and find creative solutions. Besides having excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams, you are also fluent both in Spanish and English.
