Position Overview

The Senior Analyst, Sales Planning and Execution will support the design and administration of sales force alignments, targeting, call planning and incentive compensation programs, and will partner with key stakeholders as a strategic business partner to execute our business priorities. This role will provide analytics and reporting in support of workstreams and projects within the team. Responsibilities include data asset development, generating data inputs, process documentation, identification of process enhancements and technical expertise.

This position is a hybrid position located in Madison, WI.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Translate business needs into technical requirements utilizing a structured process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing change) to assess and recommend solutions.
  • Support sales incentive compensation programs data requirements gathering and plan period processing. Including the end-to-end management of the Incentive Compensation accrual process: gathering required inputs, processing eligibility, report development and delivery.
  • Support sales force alignment maintenance and optimization of sales force deployment.
  • Support the creation and deployment of targeting and call planning and development of reporting.
  • Support the design, development and testing of vendor platforms.
  • Establish and maintain process documentation on data architecture and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline plan period processing.
  • Manage field inquiries and support modelling and analytics requests within the Sales Planning & Execution team.
  • Develop and execute Sales Planning & Execution timelines and coordinate across stakeholders.
  • Develop, build, and maintain reporting metrics, providing timely and accurate data insights to support better decision-making at all levels.
  • Focus on data quality improvement efforts such as identifying abnormalities, maintaining business rules, and mitigating the risk of errors.
  • Creative and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Create presentation material for communication and training of processes and platforms leveraged within Sales Planning & Execution, including IC Governance.
  • Consistently build effective relationships with team members and internal and external stakeholders; ability to influence directly and indirectly.
  • Perform quality control measures and provide ongoing monitoring and analysis of the sales planning process to ensure it is compliant, effective, and administered with a high level of accuracy.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, resulting in ongoing enhancements in processes and workflows, increased productivity, and cost savings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to operate in a cross cultural and complex matrix environment, and ability to build consensus across functions.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 75% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to travel 15% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business administration, finance, mathematics, statistics, or related field with an excellent record of academic achievement.
  • Demonstrated knowledge establishing sales operations strategies, such as the design and administration of alignments, call plans and incentive compensation reward and recognition programs.
  • 4+ years of experience as a business analyst or in an operations role supporting a commercial function or a hands-on technical role, technical project management, or systems development.
  • Strong analytical skills, prioritization skills, business intuition, and organizational ability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel macros and pivot tables and Word.
  • Strong data management and reporting skills, including working experience with few of the following platforms:
    • Data preparation / processing tool (e.g. any of SQL, Databricks, etc.)
    • Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to apply qualitative or quantitative business analysis while leveraging primary or secondary data.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, problem solve and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives with excellent project planning and execution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare industry in Sales, Service, Operations or similar function(s).
  • Adaptable, open to change and able to work in ambiguous situations and respond to new information or unexpected circumstances.
  • Demonstrated capacity for decision making in complex scenarios and for holding one-self and others accountable to those decisions.
  • Working experience with the following platforms: Coding Language (e.g. any of R, SAS, Python etc.).

Salary Range:

$85,000.00 – $135,000.00

 

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US – WI – Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
