About this role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect with a strong background in Data Architecture and Data modelling in large enterprise application environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex data architectures that support our business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of data management, integration, and governance, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making. Drive the migration and implementation of Professional Services Automation (PSA) and CRM software. The ideal candidate will be a thought leader and collaborator enhancing IT-business partnerships, contributing to program roadmap development, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth program execution. An ideal candidate should have a strong data background with prior experience implementing PSA and CRM software for Consulting organizations and shall be working on a variety of initiatives including but not limited to:
- Conduct technology assessments of the application and data ecosystems, identifying current challenges and developing mitigation strategies.
- Design future state technology reference architecture for solution(s), integration and data, identify required capabilities, platforms, tools and design operating model.
- Perform solution options analysis and identify and assess potential platforms and solutions may help the business to achieve its business objectives.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive data architecture strategies that align with business goals and technology initiatives
- Design scalable, secure, resilient and efficient data models and structures to support enterprise applications.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of data architecture to optimize data integration, storage, and retrieval processes.
- Lead the integration of data across various enterprise applications, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency.
- Evaluate and implement data integration tools and technologies to enhance data accessibility and usability.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
- Recommend and implement new tools and technologies to enhance data architecture and analytics capabilities.
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers and administrators to ensure data integrity and performance
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of data architecture designs, processes, and standards.
- Communicate complex data concepts and strategies to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of application developers, product operations, architects to understand complex product requirements and translate them into automated solutions.
- Actively participate in problem solving discussions to ensure systems are designed for right problems
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field required
- 12-15 years’ experience including design, architecture and implementation of large transformation IT projects for enterprises.
- Expertise in developing technology reference architecture, data architecture based on the architecture best practices.
- Expertise in Data architecture, including data integration and migration for financial systems for subscription businesses.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts and experience in integrating packaged (CRM, PSA) and custom applications.
- Experience designing and building Canonical Data models, Data Cubes.
- Experience with data integration tools such as Informatica, MuleSoft, or similar.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices to ensure better data quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, thought leadership, with the ability to influence and drive change
- Expertise in design and developing scalable, extensible and integrated analytics platform.
- Expertise in developing hybrid integration architecture and deep understanding of API management.
- Experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) is an advantage.
- Scrum software development methodology experience is required.
