Location
Mercury® Financial is headquartered in the progressive and entrepreneurial tech hub of Austin, Texas. Our physical location is situated in a beautiful park like setting called the Domain. Mercury® Financials’ Wilmington, Delaware office is located near the Riverfront. Wilmington is Delaware’s largest city and is the economic engine of the state. The Riverfront combines its rich history with a host of attractions that bring great food, entertainment, and shopping to our city. Based on its convenient location, direct access to I-95, Amtrak and SEPTA, this location allows our employees the flexibility to live in a variety of the surrounding areas.

Role: The Senior BI Analyst will lead the design and development of analytical solutions to address business challenges.
What a day is like:
• Data Extraction & Transformation: Manipulate data from large, complex data sources, turning it into actionable insights that drive business decisions
• Data Visualization: Build and maintain interactive data visualizations, dashboards, and operational scorecards (Tableau required) to support business operations and performance improvements
• Automation Focus: Identify opportunities to streamline, scale, and automate tools and processes, putting data insights directly into the hands of business users
• Data Governance & Control: Develop and maintain control artifacts such as metadata dictionaries, process flows, and control points. Assist in the creation of data models and ensure the validation and reconciliation of data
• Collaborate closely with business units to understand information needs, providing high-quality, actionable insights that drive strategic and operational decisions
• Conduct ad hoc analysis using data from various sources to identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains
• Communication: Present data-driven insights to executives, clearly walking through the business impact of findings
You’re perfect for this role if you:
• Have an existing understanding of credit cards and TSYS data
• Exhibit curiosity, patience, adaptability, and critical thinking in solving complex data problems
• Have experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI), SQL/SAS, and data manipulation to turn raw data into business insights
• Enjoy thinking about data and analytics in terms of automation and finding ways to streamline data insights for everyday business users
• Can communicate technical insights to executives and articulate the business impact effectively
