The position
As a Senior Clinical Trial Data Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:

Be accountable for end-to-end trial delivery from data management in accordance with project goals, plans, and assigned activities.

Provide project management and oversight of the clinical trial(s) you are assigned to, including risk identification, issue prevention and resolution, decision facilitation, and management reporting.

Ensure that clinical data, which meets applicable regulatory requirements, quality, and data standards, is available in a timely manner.

Foster team spirit within the team of Clinical Trial Data Managers, whenever more than one is allocated to a trial.

Contribute with effective communication and information within the Trial Squad and with key stakeholders.

Utilize your knowledge of clinical trial methodology to ensure trials are planned and conducted according to industry best practices.
Qualifications
To be our new Senior Clinical Trial Data Manager, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

MSc in Natural/Life Science or a comparable degree in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, veterinary science, or clinical information management. A degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.

Minimum 3 years of data management experience.

Experience in project management and data management in clinical trials.

Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, good clinical practices (GCP), and industry standards

Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
-
Strong knowledge of clinical trial data management systems.

Experience in data quality control and data cleaning processes.
-
Ability to manage risks, solve problems, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets.

Experience working with clinical investigators, research institutions, and clinical research organizations (CRO) is a plus.
-
Programming skills are a plus, but not a must.

The Trial Data Management Phase 1 & NIS department is part of the global Data Management & Centralised Data Review (DMCDR) organization within the Data Science area at Novo Nordisk. Our team is responsible for ensuring the integrity and timely flow of clinical trial data, conforming to regulatory requirements and industry standards. We work closely with stakeholders across the global Novo Nordisk organization to deliver high-quality data for analysis, reporting, and submission.
