We are looking for a stellar Analyst to come on board.

The Product Analytics & Insights team bridges the operational and product sides of Whatfix, using a strategic mindset, and analytical thinking to drive “data” driven business decisions. The Sr. Data analyst in this role will work with large amounts of complex data to draw actionable insights not only for the product team but also for adjacent teams that need deep product usage insights.

What will you get to do?

  • Analyze complex product problems using data from customer product usage data
  • Provide actionable insights to decision-makers to influence strategy and product roadmap
  • Build and maintain usage & operational dashboard for both executive leadership and other stakeholders to understand key metrics and trends 
  • Closely work with Data Lake & Product teams to ingest required data sets and set up data pipelines to efficiently run analytics & modeling projects
  • Co-own the business goals & lead data-led problem solving to find actionable insights across multiple product areas to drive customer engagement and product adoption
  • Collaborate with R&D to ensure and improve data availability, integrity, accuracy, and reliability
  • Own product data from tracking and modeling through visualization and analysis
  • Provide mentorship, guidance and training to associates/interns

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 3-5 years of experience and a strong analytical background, with a degree (preferred from tier 1/2 college) in computer science, engineering, statistics or related quantitative field
  • SQL and Python/R/Julia/Scala proficiency – a must
  • Ability to turn large amounts of ambiguous data into a concise, meaningful story
  • Ability to understand user behaviour and meaning behind the numbers
  • Experience working with BI / Web Analytics tools – Looker/Tableau/Qliksense/Sisense etc
  • Experience working in a Product(B2B) set-up – SaaS set up an advantage
  • Understanding of concepts in quantitative user behaviour analysis – segmentation, trends, cohort
  • Experience with delivering analytics recommendations to senior leadership and executive-level audiences
  • Attention to detail combined with creative thinking
  • Good to have experience in AI/ML, data science, NLP/Text analytics, Gen AI
  • Good to have experience using Product Analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel etc.,
