The Role: Senior Data Analyst

Location: Remote 

About This Role:

As the Senior Data Analyst at Hazel Health, you will play a crucial role in improving our data visualization and analysis capabilities using Tableau. Your duties include preparing reports, administering the Tableau server, defining new KPIs, and designing dashboards to enhance decision-making and drive business success. You will lead the development and maintenance of a Tableau reporting suite to monitor performance and inform strategic decisions. Collaboration with analysts and leadership is essential to shape the future of analytics and reporting, providing immediate opportunities to improve performance and user engagement. This cross-functional role provides numerous opportunities to collaborate with various teams across Hazel Health, including Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Engineering.

What You’ll Do:Develop and enhance data visualization solutions using Tableau to facilitate informed decision-making across departments.

  • Manage Tableau server administration tasks to ensure smooth operation and accessibility of reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate closely with analysts and leadership to shape the future direction of analytics and reporting initiatives.
  • Provide training and guidance to Tableau users across the organization, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills to effectively utilize Tableau for data analysis and reporting purposes.

About You:

  • 5-7 years of business analytics experience.  5+ years experience working in Tableau.
  • Proven experience in data analysis and visualization using Tableau, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in dashboard design and report preparation.
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Experience in training and mentoring Tableau users to enhance their skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with teammates across all levels within the organization
  • Comfort with ambiguity and getting scrappy in a humble, fast-paced environment

  • A competitive compensation package, including a hiring base pay range of $100,000 – $120,000
