We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Consultant / Pre-Sales / Data Architect with over 10 years of experience in BI, data architecture, and data engineering. This role supports Pre-Sales, Commercial, and Operations teams in developing business opportunities and executing complex data projects. As a senior consultant, you will play a critical role in designing data architectures, overseeing data integrations, and guiding clients through the project lifecycle, from proposal through to implementation.

Responsibilities

1. Pre-Sales & Commercial Support

  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with commercial and pre-sales teams to craft, validate, and defend business proposals, ensuring technical solutions are well-aligned with client objectives.
  • Product Positioning & Demos: Lead product demos and position top BI and data tools (Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView, Oracle Data Integrator, etc.) to showcase their value and relevance for client use cases.
  • Proof of Concept (PoC) Development: Design and execute PoCs to validate solutions and ensure technical and business alignment.
  • Market Research & Strategy: Keep abreast of emerging trends, new technologies, and product advancements; provide insights to improve competitive positioning.
  • Pre-Sales Documentation: Develop and refine pre-sales materials, such as product sheets, proposals, and service offerings.

2. Operations Support

  • Data Architecture & Project Leadership: Architect data solutions, including data warehouses and data integration systems, ensuring scalability, robustness, and alignment with client needs.
  • Consulting & Training: Conduct specialized consulting engagements and lead training on BI, data integration, and analytics, facilitating effective knowledge transfer.
  • Project Launch Support: Oversee the setup of products and the initiation of projects, ensuring smooth launches and client readiness.

3. Additional Responsibilities

  • Task & Resource Management: Plan and prioritize tasks effectively, managing time, risks, and quality to deliver high-value solutions.
  • Problem Resolution: Solve complex architectural, engineering, and BI challenges, collaborating across teams to drive solutions.
  • Client & Team Leadership: Lead mid-to-high complexity projects as a trusted advisor, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the key liaison between clients, technical teams, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear requirements capture and implementation.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (10+ years).
  • 10+ years in data consulting, including experience as a Data Architect and Data Engineer.
  • Proven expertise in BI, data architecture, and data engineering, with at least 5 years in Pre-Sales or consulting roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of data warehousing (DWH), data architecture, and data integration.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, MicroStrategy, Oracle BI).
  • In-depth experience with data engineering tools and methodologies, including ETL tools (e.g., Oracle Data Integrator, Talend), data integration practices, and pipeline design.
  • Familiarity with data management and project methodologies, applying best practices for varied client needs.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in BI, data architecture, or data engineering.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with specific industry verticals to provide sector-specific insights.
