About the role

We’re looking for a motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our data and research team. This person will be responsible for aggregating and scrutinizing data, providing actionable insights, and spearheading the management and execution of projects across various domains throughout the family office, registered investment advisor, broker dealer, alternative investment, and capital markets spaces. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and self starter with experience in data aggregation and problem solving. This role will work directly with the leadership team, Sr. Vice President of Research and Director of Integrations. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, Aggregate and store data across the financial industry
  • Ability to analyze findings
  • Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques 
  • Identify opportunities for data acquisition 
  • Collaborate with data scientists and research team 
  • Build data systems and pipelines 
  • Analyze and organize raw data

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. (We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, data science or relevant field 
  • Masters Degree in relevant field is preferred
  • 2-3 years in a data engineering role 
  • Proficiency with SFTP, Snowflake, SQL, Python
  • Ability to work well in a team environment 
  • Self motivated, self starter
  • Problem solving skills
