About the Role:

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be a driving force in unlocking the power of data across our organization. You will wield your expertise in problem-solving, model development, and collaboration to tackle complex business challenges, innovate with cutting-edge technologies, and ensure the long-term success of our data science initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Scalable Delivery:

  • Design and develop scalable machine learning models that address identified business needs with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure data models are easily interpretable and aligned with business requirements and stakeholder expectations.

AI and ML Innovation and Adoption:

  • Drive the adoption of AI and ML across different facets of the organization, ensuring they contribute meaningfully to business outcomes.
  • Identify and evaluate new AI capabilities and technologies, assessing their potential impact and integration into current processes.

Business Problem Solving:

  • Collaboratively define and prioritise business challenges with high potential for data-driven solutions.
  • Apply expert analytical skills to translate complex business problems into clear and actionable data questions.

Continuous Learning and Innovation:

  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other data science domains.
  • Actively participate in research and development efforts, exploring new methodologies and potential applications and proactively identifying opportunities to improve existing models.

Model Maintenance and Comprehensive Governance:

  • Implement robust model maintenance and governance policies at an enterprise level, ensuring the longevity and reliability of data models.
  • Ensure all data science models and initiatives comply with regulatory and business requirements.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicate technical insights and data-driven findings to diverse audiences.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with engineers, analysts, and executives to drive adoption and maximize the impact of data science solutions.


Skills:

  • Proficiency in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining.
  • Experience with AI and ML technologies and their integration into business processes.
  • Familiarity with model maintenance and governance practices.
  • Understanding of data science project lifecycle, from design to deployment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.


Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining with a strong foundation in AI and ML technologies.
  • Proven track record of contributing to the design and implementation of scalable AI solutions in alignment with business objectives.
  • Experience in supporting the execution of data science projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely delivery.
  • Familiarity with model maintenance and governance policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
  • Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance organizational AI literacy and adoption.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
