Astera Labs is looking for a Senior HR Specialist to support our rapid organizational growth and provide exceptional employee experience. This pivotal role encompasses all facets of the employee lifecycle, with a specific focus on compensation, benefits, and HR data analytics. Qualifications
- 3+ years of HR experience, with a strong emphasis on compensation and data analytics.
- Bachelor’s OR Master’s degree in human resources
- Proven proficiency in structuring competitive compensation packages.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Experience in driving compensation cycles and making strategic recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comprehensive knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
- Hands-on experience with managing HR software (HRIS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Preference for candidates with experience in fast-growing companies or start-up environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead compensation analysis efforts to ensure market competitiveness and drive strategic decisions.
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends, track key HR metrics, and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, with a focus on compensation and data-driven strategies.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions, evaluations, and classifications aligned with compensation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in compensation structures and processes.
- Conduct research into emerging trends in compensation and HR analytics.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Perform periodic audits and prepare comprehensive reports to inform decision-making.
- Partner with cross-functional teams on various HR initiatives and projects, leveraging data-driven approaches.
- Foster proactive communications and contribute to employee recognition programs.
