Job Description

In CNS, you will be part of Core Networks – Services & Care (S&C) organization. This group is at the heart of a revolution to bring faster and reliable networks to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

Lead & perform development activities of medium/high complexity features. Create design specs – basic/small scope/less complex. Support peers in completing tasks within own area(s) of expertise. Lead technical discussions with peers for resolving identified issues in own area(s) of expertise. Improves existing processes & solutions. Owns small/medium features.

We are looking for Senior Java Developers who could lead the development effort on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative, dynamic environment designing Java-based creative solutions to telco network use cases.

Knowledge & Experience

8+ years of overall experience in the telecom domain in Java/J2EE and Python programming, ideally focused on core network function development.

Experience on Front End development frameworks like React.

Experience on Generative AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering is mandatory.

Experience on Frameworks like RAG, Langchain, Agents.

Familiarity with CI/CD, automation, shell scripting, Python scripting, and Proficient with development tools such as GitLab, Gerrit, and JIRA.

Experience in at least one RDBMS (MariaDB, Oracle, MySQL etc.)

Desired working knowledge of IPv4 & IPv6, REST API, SOAP, LDAP, SPML, XML, YAML/JSON, and HTTP.

Familiarity with cloud-native technologies, DevOps methodologies, and CI/CD tools for deployment, Azure, AWS and integration is preferred.

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge and experience with the professional services project lifecycle (scoping, requirements, construction, QA/test)
