As a Data Analysis Professional in our Finance team you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.

As an Analytics Solutions Associate  on the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Finance Data & Insights Sensitive Data Team, you will play a key role in insight development in our data environment to meet the evolving needs of the business and in supporting Firm wide Sensitive Data request as well as the Racial Equity Commitment.  You will be primarily responsible for implementing end to end solutions for sensitive data infrastructure, data products, and analytics output. You will interact with key stakeholders firm wide, i.e., Finance, Technology, CCB, Wealth Management and Private Bank to support Sensitive Data analytics, reporting, and development of new solutions to meet the needs of senior stakeholders and the Finance organization. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the business users/analysts to understand requirements and functional needs. Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements & prototype solutions for new/enhancement requests, with appropriate standards.
  • Perform data research and analytics using SQL. End to end ownership of deliverable starting from requirement analysis, Data sourcing, transformation using Alteryx and building dashboards using Tableau.  Work closely with end-users/IT during the UAT phase of the project.
  • Work with IT to migrate the developed solutions to production. 
  • Ability to extract and validate data from multiple environments -Teradata, Cloud environment -Snowflake (AWS), Data Lake, Databricks, etc.
  • Validate that production results comply with business requirements and expected results. Work with Compliance & Controls team to ensure methodology complies with regulatory guidance.
  • Interact with LRCC Partners (Legal, Risk, Controls and Compliance) to ensure that we are minimizing any risk to the firm. Work as SME/escalation point for the deployed solutions & perform root cause analysis for reported issues. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Create & maintain Jira stories & epics, tracking book of work priorities, communicate updates, and manage projects to successful completion; explain data concepts & challenges clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in SQL, developing and managing advanced BI dashboards involving data visualization, and data-driven analysis
  • Strong Tableau dashboard design, development and server deployment knowledge  
  • Strong Alteryx workflows development and server deployment knowledge
  • Hands on experience writing complex SQL Queries for analyzing huge data sets. 
  • Degree in Computer Science or IT related discipline. Excellent analytical ability as well as hands-on experience with analytical and statistical packages/databases (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python or equivalent).
  • Experience working in data transformation & cloud migration projects. Demonstrated experience in analyzing voluminous data from raw sources.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines. Ability to conduct research into data mining issues, practices, and products as required.
  • Jira and Agile practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with big data technologies and machine learning is a plus.
