- We are looking for a Senior Resource to join our JLL Technologies – CoE organization in Bangalore, India. This role requires partnering with the broader JLL Technology team at the country, regional and global level by utilizing in-depth knowledge of data, infrastructure, technologies and data engineering experience
- The role will add immense value to the role holder through enhancement of Technical knowledge, analytical skills and exposure to technologies suite in the PropTech domain.
- This role is a critical role in develop, monitor, maintain and migrate from on prem to cloud, enterprise wide data warehouse catering to major and key clients of organizations
Responsibilities
- Optimize data workflows: Analyze existing ETL processes and identify opportunities for optimization in terms of performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues: Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to proactively identify and resolve data integration issues. Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and implement corrective actions to enhance the stability and reliability of ETL workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, to understand data requirements and perform business impact analysis when migrating to cloud based ETL platform.
- Develop a thorough understanding of existing on-premises ETL systems and identify opportunities for improvement and migration to the cloud.
- Perform gap analysis: Compare the data objects and attributes of the on-premises ETL processes with the identified cloud-based ETL services. Identify gaps, limitations, and potential challenges in the migration process.
- Create detailed documentation of the gap analysis findings, recommendations, and proposed solutions. Present the analysis to relevant stakeholders, including technical teams, management, and decision-makers, in a clear and concise manner.
- Work closely with Cloud Architects and Engineers to fill identified data and object gaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define a comprehensive migration strategy based on the identified gaps and challenges. Create a roadmap outlining the necessary steps for moving on-premises ETL processes to the cloud, including timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Able to work with remotely located resources, onshore and offshore, as member of the offshore RED COE team working very closely with the Work Dynamics team on a day-to-day basis.
- Work directly with Product Owners, business SMEs and data analysts as the lead in understanding and documenting business requirements and plan and execute solutions.
- Supporting the data platform, providing data, analysis and insight to internal clients throughout enterprise (All global regions, AMER, EMEA and APAC).

Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 12-15 years of software development experience using Agile methodologies
- Minimum 8-9 years of technical work experience in the field of ETL Development and data warehousing technologies
- Experience in Agile data warehouse build methodology
- Strong experience in ETL analysis and design, preferably both on-premises and cloud-based.
- Strong experience in working with databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server
Technical Skills & Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of various ETL tools and technologies, including on-premises solutions and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with cloud-based services, such as Azure Databricks.
- Understanding of data integration patterns, transformation logic, and data modeling concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL Server, ETL tool like Informatica/Wherescape
- Proficiency in Python, or other programming languages commonly used in data manipulation and scripting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on delivering accurate and high-quality results.
- Highly motivated and accountable person
- Self-motivated team player who is flexible and adapts in quickly changing environment.
