Job Overview: The Data Manager/Engineer is responsible for updating databases, evaluating and processing client data feeds, generating production deliverables, and providing technical support. This role involves working collaboratively with team leads, content leads, and other Data Managers to adhere to best practices, ensuring the delivery of high-quality databases within specified timelines.

Key Responsibilities:  

  

Data Management:  

  • Develop familiarity with client-supplied data and internally developed tools for assessing data quality.  

  • Process and update databases in alignment with client requirements.  

  • Investigate and resolve data quality issues, adhering to department processes.  

  • Design, maintain, execute, and document system tests and requirement validation tests.  

  • Design and implement scalable and efficient data models to support the organization’s data needs.  

  • Support user acceptance testing as needed.  

  

Client Support:  

  • Assist clients in understanding data specifications and resolving data quality issues.  

  • Consistently deliver usable databases on time, meeting client expectations for content and quality.  

  • Establish and enforce data quality standards and best practices.  

  • Implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.  

  

Technical Expertise:  

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems.  

  • Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes.  

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure etc.  

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.  

  • Knowledge of data modelling, warehousing, and architecture best practices.  

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.  

  

Preferred Skills:  

  • Familiarity with Selenium, Pandas, VB Macro  

  • Knowledge of US healthcare  

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Kyvos).  

  

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or any degree with Computer Science is required.  

  

Experience: 2- 4 years of relevant experience in data management, ETL, and database development.
