Then, check this outstanding opportunity in our new Technology Hub in Mexico – CBSM (Chubb Business Services Monterrey) as a Senior Data Analyst.
Senior Data Analyst role requiring strong business analysis and data analysis skills, with a strong technical background. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality data-driven solutions for Value chain intelligence capabilities including STP, Experience insights etc. He/she will work with key stakeholders, business partners, and IT counterparts to define requirements, identify source data, assist with high level data designs, create data model artifacts, analyze, and troubleshooting data issues.

You’ll solve diverse business problems by utilizing a variety of different tools, strategies, and methodologies with opportunities to work data across varying technology platforms, data types, and formats.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the business partners and technology teams; act as liaison between domain and data platform teams
- Interact with domain and capabilities owners to document issues, data requirements and write technical specifications & design documents.
- Create and maintain JIRA backlog.
- Understand the source system data model and support the development on the raw data ingestion pipelines.
- Work with domain and data platform teams to plan and prioritize features and backlog according to business value
- Elaborate user stories for technical team; ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
- Play an instrumental role in data integration efforts by working with data engineers, automation engineers and Visualization developers to form a cohesive unit responsible for provisioning business information.
- Work with large amounts of data, interpret data, analyze results, perform gap analysis and provide ongoing reports
- Provide data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers; handle ad-hoc analysis & report generation requests from the business
- Prepare and maintain documentation on data structures, process flows and data models
- Build data & mapping specifications for development teams
- Respond to data related inquiries to support business and technical teams
- Analyze, build and document data lineage
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
Technical Skills / Experience:
- Proven working experience of 8-12 years as a technical data analyst. Not a pure BA.
- Solid understanding of P&C Insurance data
- Knowledge & working experience with Duck creek is an added plus
- Knowledge & working experience with Insurity Policy Decisions and/or IEV is an added plus
- Technical expertise regarding data architecture, models and database design development
- Strong knowledge of and experience with T-SQL, XML’s, Azure SQL DW, Python and ETL frameworks
- Strong Knowledge of analyzing datasets using Excel
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proactive, self-motivated and detail oriented
- Solid problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence

- Proven ability to produce results in the analysis, design, testing and deployment of applications
