Job Description

Reporting into the Data & Analytics function, the Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for advancing the maturity of data driven decision making at Zayzoon. We are looking for a talented and curious self-starter who is driven to solve complex problems and who can juggle a domain with multiple stakeholders. We need someone to collaborate with all levels of the GTM team to understand the behaviors of our leads, prospects and commercialization efforts to draw actionable insights necessary to accelerate growth in customer acquisition, engagement and lifetime value. This includes managing and maintaining key business KPIs, performance evaluation and driving a culture of experimentation to cultivate the right feedback loop to identify opportunities and optimize ongoing practices. The role is for someone who can combine strong business acumen with analytical expertise and a desire to learn. Strong communication skills are a must to bridge the gap between different perspectives on the spectrum of data literacy, as well as the gap between technical and non-technical audiences. We are looking for someone who can leverage data to inform the strategy and decision-making that will drive business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross functional teams to understand challenges and goals and leverage data and analytics to provide data-driven recommendations and insights.
  • Create and maintain reporting dashboards, interpret the performance of key metrics, and advocate for the experimental best practices. 
  • Partner with the Operations team to identify opportunities to enhance data collection and integrity of data for analysis.
  • Be an advocate to drive analytic maturity across the organization by contributing to the ongoing development and enhancement of data analytics process, tools and methodologies

Qualifications

  • Advance SQL skills with experience querying large and complex datasets
  • Strong proficiency in developing reports and dashboards with Tableau (or equivalent BI platforms,  PowerBi, Looker, Qlik etc.)
  • Strong analytical (statistical methodologies) and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful insights.
  • Effectively communicate complex matters and requirements between audiences, both visually and verbally
  • Proactive, autonomous, an effective project manager, and able to partner with business and engineering stakeholders from ideation to execution
  • Have business acumen to identify and evaluate key performance indicators and can create data-driven feedback loop necessary to inform decision-making and propel business value
  • Experience with data analysis and machine learning in Python or R
  • Experience with analytics applied to marketing and sale problems: marketing mix modeling, attribution modeling, campaign optimization, deal flow analysis etc. 
  • A mindset for continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends, new tools, and technologies.
  • Experience with MarTech like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Marketo, Hubspot, Salesforce etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (eg. statistics, mathematics, business, science)

Candidates must be located in North America to be considered.We are organized as a remote team, as such we are looking for candidates who can work effectively remotely. You must have access to a secure high speed internet connection and a secure workspace to ensure security of private information. This role is available on a permanently remote basis.
