We are looking for a new Senior Manager, People Analytics Data Strategy & Enablement to help us stabilize our data infrastructure, improve data accessibility, and simplify self-service.

Reporting to the Executive, People Analytics, the person in this role will play a pivotal part in building and stabilizing our data foundation upon which all other People Analytics work will be built. The work of the People Analytics team is high impact and high visibility across the HR function and is frequently used in strategic discussions at the highest levels. This is an exciting role that is critically important to the advancement of our multi-year People Analytics roadmap.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Identify all data sources and data fields needed to create standardized workforce metrics assessing candidates, employees, and the labor market
  • Develop and manage a multi-year data strategy to streamline and simplify various data sources with a phased approach, engaging with stakeholders, partners, and clients for prioritization and implementation
  • Partner with IT to develop best-in-class people analytics data infrastructure designed to aggregate data from multiple disparate sources into an easily accessible structure, communicate clear data requirements to IT and ensure final design meets the needs of the People Analytics team
  • Leverage expert data visualization skills to build easy-to-use, intuitive dashboards that tell compelling stories to drive business decisions
  • Champion self-service enablement by implementing a clear client requirement gathering process, developing self-service reporting and dashboard solutions, and influencing self-service adoption through effective training and resources
  • Act as a data governance advisor working with the HR Systems and IT teams to implement processes to ensure data is stored and structured in ways that are usable for the People Analytics team, that system processes are simplified to minimize errors, and that effective audits are in place to improve data integrity
  • Champion data privacy and security with strict focus on maintaining employee confidentiality and compliance with all data privacy legislation
  • Inventory existing dashboards and make recommendations for simplification, including the implementation of consistent data visualization standards
  • Stay abreast of AI trends and ensure data foundation is established to support AI initiatives
  • Assess People Analytics tools and make recommendations for build vs buy decisions


Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in MIS, Data Science, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or any other related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in IT, data science, people analytics or a related field, with at least 3 years developing and implementing data strategies. Consistent track record of creating and delivering value through large scale, global analytics and planning projects.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong strategic and analytical skills with a deep understanding of how to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Ability to simplify complex data sets into compelling stories that jump off the page. Expert data visualization skills with a keen eye for design and simplification.
  • Experience with Workday, Tableau, Tableau Prep, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, SQL, and complex Integrations between systems. Ability to create custom metrics and calculations in Tableau. Experience with both structured and unstructured data.
  • Ability to cut through large amounts of complex data, simplify and streamline processes, with an eye for continuous improvement.

Pay and Benefits:

  • The pay for this position is $128,900 – 214,800. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on October 16, 2024.
