Supply Chain Planning Data Analyst

Description –

The HP supply chain is responsible for planning, sourcing, making, and delivering more than 2 PC’s and 1 Printer every second of every day to channel partners and end-user customers around the world. We are searching for a Supply Chain Planning Data Analyst in Mexico.

Responsibilities:

As a data analyst:

  • Extract, analyze and interpret large amounts of data from a range of sources, using algorithmic, data mining and statistical tools, to make it accessible to businesses.  As a next step, you will be participating to explore opportunities in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Once you’ve interpreted the data, you’ll present your results using clear and engaging language.  You’ll use your technical, analytical and communication skills to collect and examine data to help a business find patterns and solve problems.

  • Produces reports and analyzes data to develop trends for supply and demand planning activities.

  • Reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement.

  • Create clear reports that tell compelling stories about how customers or clients work with the business.

  • Contribute to organization’s data science strategy.

  • Establish new systems and processes and look for opportunities to improve the flow of data.

  • work closely with your business partners to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making.

  • Use machine learning tools and statistical techniques to produce solutions to problems.

  • Stay curious and enthusiastic about using algorithms to solve problems and enthuse others to see the benefit of your work.

As a supply chain planner:

  • Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods.

  • Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.

  • Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.

  • Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements.

  • May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.

  • Supports Supply Chain resiliency for Planning along with associated projects and processes.

  • Collaborates with cross functional teams to maintain and enhance current business processes and solve issues.

  • Supports a large/ complex product set or global business unit.

  • Responsible for supply chain processes, such as demand supply matching and material allocation.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience.

  • Typically 6-10 years of experience in supply chain planning and working with and creating tools for supply planning (Power BI, Python, SQL, Kinaxis, Anaplan, Oracle, SAP, )

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Demonstrated understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make, deliver).

  • Familiar with working on issues of a diverse complexity and scope

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

  • Thorough ability to simplify the complex, data visualization, and story communication.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.
