Job Summary
• This role is responsible for leading the development and success of AI software products or features. The role formulates strategies and meticulous AI software plans for organization’s platforms and technologies. The role recruits, motivates, mentors, coaches, develops, and retains a high-performing team of product managers and product marketers.
Responsibilities

Defining Product Vision and Strategy: AI Product Managers are responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI products to align with business goals and customer needs.

Market Research and Customer Analysis: Conducting thorough market research and customer analysis to identify opportunities for AI integration that solve real-world problems.

Prioritizing Features and Functionality: Prioritizing features and functionalities based on market demands, customer feedback, and business objectives to drive product success.

Staying Updated with AI Technologies: Keeping abreast of the latest AI technologies and industry trends to identify innovation opportunities and ensure product differentiation while complying with legal and ethical guidelines.

Technical Expertise: Possessing a deep understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts to effectively communicate with technical teams, make informed decisions, and drive product innovation.

Business Acumen: Demonstrating strong business acumen to align AI product strategies with organizational goals, market demands, and customer expectations.

Leadership Skills: Leading cross-functional teams effectively, guiding projects with autonomy, and fostering collaboration among team members to achieve product success.

Communication Skills: Articulating complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication across all levels of the organization.

Risk Management: Identifying potential risks associated with AI products such as technical failures, security vulnerabilities, or regulatory compliance issues, and developing contingency plans to mitigate these risks.

Innovative Experimentation: Designing experiments to test hypotheses about AI features and user interactions, validating the effectiveness• Plays a leadership role and drives the progress of AI product management function.

Leads cross-functional teams through agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Monitors competitive market to determine client needs for certain product improvements.

Strategically partners with key senior stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.

Recommends product requirements and definitions to align with stakeholder’s needs.

Collaborates with the software engineering team on feature ideas and prototypes to bring potential solutions to life.

Collaborates with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product launch plans, and marketing collateral.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in product management, digital or software product development, or a related field.

Per the California statute, the estimated range of compensation for this job in that location, at the time of this posting, is $150,000-$205,000. This position may be eligible for incentive pay, for openings where this is applicable.
