Job Description

Statistical Research Analyst III is necessary for data reporting, cleaning, and analysis, as well as database management for several ongoing CRRNC studies.

Job Duties:

35% – Reporting and Activation Project Management. Prepare data for public and non-public archival for multiple studies. Data cleaning and merging for cross-sectional and longitudinal analyses.

35% – Data Analysis and Presentation to include: compilation of numerical data; run various statistical analyses as required by the projects; coordinate research teams, and help write research protocols; prepare reports on statistical methods and results of their application to data analysis projects; prepare analysis using Stata/SPSS/SAS; presenting data during team meetings; preparing publication quality figures, may be involved in writing of manuscripts; efforts will directly contribute to grant applications and manuscripts.

25% – Database Management to include: organizing, storing, and retrieving data; design, implementation and support of databases; ensures integrity.

5% – Other duties as assigned by PI will directly contribute to grants/applications.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Requirements: A bachelor’s degree and one year professional experience involving the collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of quantified data. A master’s degree in statistics may be substituted for the required work experience. (Frequent) Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects at a distance.
