Job Description

Edelman Data & Intelligence is seeking a Vice President of Predictive Analytics. The person in this role will help drive our global Business Science and Analytics business by 1) leading large business science accounts, 2) further developing our measurement and risk analytics capabilities, 3) growing a junior team, and 4) evolving our capabilities and products in data science. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership of large analytics client engagements, including client management, deliverables, and project management.
  • Drive the business development process, including solution development, proposals, and sales pitches.
  • Build and manage a team of data scientists, who’s responsibilities include:
  • Efficiently managing data from disparate sources, distilling into datasets prepared for data science.
  • Executing statistical models to support project work.
  • Preparing client-facing material (example: PowerPoint slides and charts), distilling analytical insights effectively into stories for clients
  • Developing standardized code and processes that can be easily used by the larger team.
  • Support new product development as necessary.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on marketing sciences experience, including marketing mix modeling, attribution, time series analysis, look-alike modeling, A/B testing, etc.
  • Experience in analytics-related programming languages, e.g. R, Python, Keras, Tensorflow, Pytorch, Scrapy, SAS
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, coupled with the ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments and deadlines,
  • Ability to develop proposals and analytics solutions based off of business and client needs.
  • Degree in a quantitative discipline such as economics, engineering, statistics, mathematics, etc.  is highly desirable.
