Vice President, Artificial Intelligence (AI)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to lead our AI initiatives in support of our vision and transformational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AI strategies, skill sets, technologies, data, and operating model considerations. They will be responsible for developing and implementing AI-driven solutions to enhance Acxiom’s products and services in support of our clients.

*This role can be located almost anywhere in the U.S.

What You Will Do:

AI Strategy Development: Lead the development and execution of AI strategies aligned with Acxiom’s objectives and business plan. Identify opportunities to leverage AI technologies to optimize business performance, enhance customer engagement, and drive revenue growth.

AI Solution Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions for data-driven marketing campaigns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into existing marketing platforms and processes effectively.

Market Analysis: Keeping abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors’ AI strategies. Conducting market research to identify potential areas for AI application and innovation.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the performance and effectiveness of AI-driven marketing initiatives. Monitor campaign performance closely and identify opportunities for optimization through AI-powered algorithms and techniques.

Communication and Advocacy: Serving as a spokesperson and advocate for AI within the organization, as well as externally with clients, partners, regulators, and the broader community. Articulating the value proposition of AI and promoting a culture of innovation and learning.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders, including IPG, products, marketing, sales, IT, and senior management, to align AI initiatives with business goals and priorities. Communicate effectively to ensure buy-in and support for AI projects across the organization.

Partnerships and Alliances: Identifying and fostering strategic partnerships with external organizations, such as technology vendors, research institutions, and startups, to leverage expertise, access to resources, and accelerate AI innovation.

Compliance and Ethical Considerations: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical guidelines in the development and deployment of AI solutions. Implement best practices for data governance and security to protect customer information and maintain trust.

What You Will Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in AI, machine learning, data analytics, and strategy, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical expertise in AI technologies, including natural language processing, computer vision, predictive analytics, and recommendation systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing AI-driven solutions in a corporate marketing environment, resulting in measurable business impact.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
