The purpose of the role is to assist with building, gate keeping and maintaining the suite of Curry’s retail reporting that provides actionable insight and enables the achievement of all sales, profitability, customer experience and workforce management across the UK and Ireland.

 

As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:  

  • Interfacing with the retail leadership team in order to support with producing, managing and gate keeping the suite of reports the retail teams utilize to track financial performance, people metrics, task completion and process compliance across the entire store estate in the UK and Ireland.
  • Analysing performance and provide insight to the retail team, to enable them to deliver great customer results with an efficient cost base
  • Supporting the WFM Leadership Team with actionable insight in order for recommendations to be made every week to deliver the commercial plan, improve operational efficiency and delight customers.
  • Providing support with all new requests for reporting, support the delivery of our business goals whilst remaining aligned to our company values and the Customer Promise and challenging where they do not.
  • Supporting with the creation, maintenance and improvement of large complex databases and intranet sites to ensure data and content is accurate, fit for purpose and delivering value in both the Workforce Management space and auxiliary areas (for example P&Ls and colleague reward).

 

Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience required:  

  • Expert knowledge of Retail and Store operations
  • Problem Solving – Ability to analyse and understand complex data and situations to recommend the optimal solution 
  • Data Evaluation Skills – Ability to identify trends, underlying root causes, variation and deviation Results Focused – Delivers work end to end in a planned and controlled manner
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel 
  • Knowledge of SQL/VB programming
  • Knowledge of relational databases, table structures and SPROCS
  • Knowledge of building and developing web / intranet sites using C#, .NET and Java programming languages.
  • Knowledge and experience using IBM COGNOS (Desirable but not essential)
  • Knowledge and experience using POWER BI (Desirable but not essential)
