Apple’s WW Channel Strategy & Operations (CSO) organization focuses on developing and deploying worldwide sales programs and best practices to deliver an extraordinary customer experience in the channel and drive Apple Channel sales. With deep functional expertise in digital, physical, and people enablement spaces, our WW CSO team closely collaborates with many cross-functional groups at world-wide and regional levels. Our WW CSO Product Team is seeking a Content Technology Product Leader to drive our business goals through our content technology roadmap. In this position, you will lead a team of product managers and content technical operators to support Apple publishing for key new product introduction moments (NPI). You will use your curiosity, communication, and leadership to deliver new content technology infrastructure and drive global content publishers to adopt. You and your team will support a portfolio of applications, learning management tools, websites, and digital channel experiences that drive global Apple sales around the world.

Description

In this role, you will: – Build, lead, and develop a diverse team of individuals – Champion content publishing automation and technologies to broader organization; Serve as thought leader and spokesperson for change management and adoption. – Manage budgets, commercials, and OPEX and CAPEX with internal teams, vendors, localization support, agencies, and other third parties – Serve as the technical operations leader for New Product Introduction (NPI) publishing for portfolio of global sales applications for Apple Channel Sales – Define success metrics and KPI’s of the product – Apply strong business analytics skills to synthesize business goals, industry trends, user feedback, and Apple technology into an effective, long-term product roadmap for P&A – Partner with business analysts and project managers to run ideation sessions and define clear product requirements – Serve as CSO legal and privacy digital content key point-of-contact related to channel sales publishing technical operations. – Leverage system knowledge, user interface expertise, and business process knowledge to collaborate with Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR), Engineering, and Design teams to develop scalable new technology solutions that enable business goals – Act as business sponsor during all project phases to ensure funding, release schedules, status updates, issue resolution, resource alignment, and quality standards are met – Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop launch plans and collaborate with the operations team to execute business readiness activities – Provide encouragement and support to team members, including communicating individual and team goals, identifying areas for mentoring and guidance, and implementing development programs for the team to build vital skills and knowledge.

Key Qualifications

  • 12+ years of product management experience delivering global enterprise content management (CMS) and digital asset management (DAM) systems
  • 3-5+ years of leadership experience; Background in consumer products and/or channel retail organization is a plus
  • Experience with CMS architecture, localization, publishing workflows, integrations, and adoption strategy
  • Knowledge of product/digital asset governance, catalogs and assortments, and analytics capabilities
  • Understanding and implementation experience with CMS and personalization technologies
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies related to content workflow publishing processes
  • Experience with Adobe products is preferred
  • Familiarity with user experience and interactive design best practices
  • Experience leading capability definition and planning software release cycles, including determining business priorities, owning product roadmaps, partnering internally, managing communication with stakeholders, setting success metrics, and tracking change management
  • Ability to build, lead, and develop inclusive teams and attract and retain talent through performance management, coaching, guidance, and support
  • Experience operating and leading in a high-paced, constantly evolving work environment, leading the team through issue resolution during the entire development lifecycle
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others, articulate vision and purpose, and advocate for Apple’s values
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with a variety of team members and job functions
  • Background working across global timezones and geographies to drive collaborative international product adoption/expansion is a plus

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required MBA is a plus
