Final-year thesis: data-driven tourism recommender system covering data collection, cleaning, exploratory analysis, sentiment modelling and an interactive Streamlit interface. Strong foundations in algorithms, databases and software engineering; practised version control, testing and documentation throughout.
Experiences
Delivered features end-to-end in an agile team using Vue.js and TypeScript on the front end and Java/Spring on the back end, following Clean Architecture. Wrote maintainable code, participated in code reviews, used Git daily and supported quality with tools such as SonarCloud. Collaborated with designers and backend engineers to ship well-tested, user-centred functionality.
Owned the analytics pipeline: collected and cleaned raw tourism data, performed EDA, built sentiment models and communicated insights via an interactive dashboard. Applied statistical reasoning (regression, hypothesis testing) and wrote clear documentation.
