The aim of Ferrovial Corporation is to design the Company’s strategy, establishing global policies, guidelines and action guides related to the different functional areas of the Organization (Internal Audit, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, IT, Innovation, etc.), which subsequently are developed and adapted to the specificities of each Business Unit. Additionally, it performs a function of providing corporate services to the different companies of the group, while consolidating its information.
Job Description:
We are seeking a international, highly innovative, motivated, and experienced Agile Delivery Lead to join Ferrovial’s Digital Hub team. Ferrovial’s Digital Hub focuses on delivering digital products that leverage Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, and other advanced technologies to optimize and transform business processes. Digital Hub is part of the Information Technologies and Innovation direction providing services and products to the corporation and all business units (Airports, Construction, Energy and Highways).
The selected individual will be responsible for the delivery of digital products, ensuring they meet business expectations and providing a user experience that facilitates their adoption and scaling.
This role will report to the Head of Business Domain and it is crucial for maximizing product value delivered to the business within defined timelines, budget, and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business users to identify needs and manage their expectations.
- Develop and communicate the product vision to all stakeholders.
- Define and measure impact and adoption KPIs.
- Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Create and maintain the product roadmap.
- Lead and facilitate agile teams in the delivery of digital products within a matrix organization, where resources are provided by the responsible technical areas, some internal to the Digital Hub (user experience, artificial intelligence, and engineering) and other cross-functional areas of the Information Technologies and Innovation direction (especially architecture and data, technology, and security).
- Collaborate within this matrix organization to define and achieve shared objectives.
- Implement and promote agile practices, with a particular focus on Scrum.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all team members.
- Identify and resolve impediments that may affect product delivery.
- Monitor and report product progress, ensuring transparency and visibility.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
- Facilitate agile meetings such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage resources assigned to the product, ensuring their optimal utilization.
- Oversee the continuous maintenance of digital products to ensure their long-term performance, functionality and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience as an Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or in a similar role.
- Deep knowledge of agile methodologies, with a particular focus on Scrum.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience managing several products simultaneously, adapting the role to the product stage (ideation, proof of concept, minimum viable product, market product validation, product scaling, etc.).
- Experience in international environments.
- Experience in managing digital products, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in matrix organizations where leadership is through influence rather than hierarchy.
- Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions.
- Knowledge of agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, etc.
- Knowledge of platform engineering, CI/CD, MLOps, DevSecOps, etc. best practices will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of the sector will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience with Artificial Intelligence will be considered an advantage.
- Experience in the maintenance and continuous improvement of digital products.
- Being bilingual in English and Spanish will be positively valued.
Education:
- University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP) are an advantage.
- Education or certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, MLOps, DevSecOps are an advantage.
