Department 
The position is in the Architecture, Data & AI department, part of the FLS IT organization. We are the internal business partner for end-to-end data solutions and analytics expertise.  

Our purpose is to provide our company with a best-in-class data and analytics function that drives innovation and growth through data democratization, data visualization and advanced analytics, including machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI). We are seeking an AI Engineer to join our Data Science team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, a passion for AI, and a drive to deliver cutting-edge solutions.  

Your responsibilities  

  • Develop AI projects hands-on, contributing to the entire lifecycle from conception to deployment.  

  • Participate in PoCs to explore how GenAI can be applied to enhance our company performance.  

  • Coach and guide colleagues into GenAI development  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into our products.  

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in AI and machine learning.  
     

What you bring 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.  

  • Strong software development skills in Python, and/or other languages. 

  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, ML model validation and software engineering principles. 

  • Experience implementing software solutions based on GenAI models  

  • Experience with cloud and automated management of resources (eg. Azure, Terraform)  

  • Instrumental with NLP techniques, as well as information retrieval from different documents and formats. 

  • Experience with data storage of unstructured data, NoSQL databases 

  • Knowledge of MLOps, such as setting up CI/CD & Github actions and familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).  

  • Passionate about high-quality code and following best practices in software development.
