Job Description

Schwarz IT takes care of the entire digital infrastructure and all software solutions of the companies of Schwarz Group. As a result, it is responsible for the selection, provision, operation and continuing development of IT infrastructure, IT platforms and business applications. In order to provide IT solutions that optimally support the departments’ business processes, Schwarz IT addresses the departments’ requirements in consultations and works with them to develop professional and effective IT solutions.

Your tasks

  • Develop and implement AI algorithms and models for personalization, focusing on recommender systems, churn and customer segmentation models.

  • Design and build data pipelines to collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources.
  • Develop and maintain software tools and frameworks to support the deployment and monitoring of AI models in production.
  • Collaborate with customer relationship management and engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows and systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and optimization techniques and share insights with the team.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support the Product Owner with story refinement and estimation.

Your profile

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of fundamental AI and machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, optimization algorithms, and deep learning.
  • Strong experience with Python and relevant libraries such as Pandas, Spark, Keras or Pytorch.
  • Practical experience with recommender systems and other relevant AI models in the CRM context.
  • Experience with Mircrosoft Azure or comparable cloud platforms desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Mindset strongly focused on utilizing technology to fulfill user needs and meet quality standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
