Job Description

Who you are:

  • A B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
  • Proven experience in ML/AI applications, preferably with an emphasis on optimization.
  • Proficiency as a hands-on engineer in a Linux environment, with comfort using the command line interface.
  • Familiarity with Python or another common programming language.
  • Understanding of the differences between software and hardware, along with the ability to envision their mutual impact.
  • An independent and fast learner.

What would you do:

  • You would be part of an R&D team that develops AI-driven optimization solutions.
  • Define AI/ML-based algorithms based on the available data.
  • Develop a PoC (Proof of Concept) for the defined algorithms on a small scale.
  • Be responsible for integrating the developed algorithms into the company’s products.

What you must have:

  • Proven record of developing and integrating AI/ML applications in real-life systems – a must.
  • Ability to design data engineering needs and capabilities for implementation by a Data Engineer – a must.
  • Experience in an MNO engineering department, so terms like “KPI’s, Neighbor Relation, Call Drop Rate, Cluster Optimization, Cell or Sector” are familiar to you – a big advantage.
  • Knowledge of cellular networks – a big advantage.
  • Familiarity with RAG and LLM – a big advantage.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: C, C++, Java, Go, Perl, Ruby, Bash – an advantage.
  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with a sense of ownership and drive.
  • Effectively communicates in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Hebrew and English.

Education:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
