The Team

Developing integrated, strategically-aligned operational risk management solutions allow organizations to make optimized business decisions.
Work you’ll do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework, policies, and procedures to ensure the integrity, availability, and security of the organization’s data assets.
- Define and maintain data governance standards and best practices, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures throughout the organization.
- Conduct data profiling, data quality assessments, and data lineage analysis to identify and resolve data quality issues and inconsistencies.
- Lead data stewardship initiatives, including the definition of data ownership, accountability, and responsibilities across business units.
- Work closely with IT and business teams to design and implement data governance tools, technologies, and solutions to support data governance objectives.
- Establish and maintain data classification and data sensitivity models to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data protection standards.
- Provide expert guidance and support to stakeholders on data governance matters, including data quality, data integration, and data privacy.
- Develop and deliver data governance training programs and workshops to promote awareness and understanding of data governance principles and practices.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to data governance, and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Desirable Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles, preferably within a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
- In-depth knowledge of data management principles, including data quality, data integration, data lineage, and data stewardship.
- Proficiency in data governance tools, data cataloging tools, and metadata management solutions.
- Experience with data profiling and data quality assessment techniques and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve data governance issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to lead and drive data governance initiatives.
- Relevant certifications in data governance, data management, or related fields are highly desirable.
