Job Description

Your territory

As part of our Data team, you will:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize analytical data models to support data analytics and reporting
  • Perform data transformations and aggregations on semi-raw data using DBT
  • Collaborate closely with Data Analysts and Data Engineers to translate analytical requirements into robust Data Warehouse models
  • Own the implementation of data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytical data models
  • Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better – you’ll never hear the phrase “…because that’s how we’ve always done things”
  • Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level

Your profile

Key requirements:

  • Advanced SQL expertise with hands-on experience working on data platforms such as Redshift, Snowflake or BigQuery
  • Proven experience with DBT Cloud/Core for transforming and modeling data
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data structures
  • Solid understanding of both Data Engineering and Data Analytics concepts, with a good grasp of overall data architecture
  • Experience using software engineering tools and practices, including version control, automated testing, and clean code principles
  • Python experience is a plus
  • Fluency in English with strong communication skills

Salary range

Just so you know what to expect: For this position, we offer a competitive overpayment based on qualification and experience. Annual gross salary starts at € 50.000 full-time. At Tractive, that means a 4-day work week with a 3-day weekend. If you bring relevant experience in many of the fields of responsibility, the salary will be considerably higher.
