About the Role
As our Analytics Engineer / Sr Analytics Engineer, you’ll be the point person behind our Analytics data infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders and EPD (Engineering, Product, and Design). Your work will be the foundation for every impactful analysis and strategic initiative, ultimately working towards helping Charlie Health provide life saving care to its patients.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business partners to translate requirements into robust data pipelines and models
- Design and implement reliable data pipelines using dbt and Fivetran
- Model and document data transformations to ensure clarity and maintainability
- Develop and execute tests to ensure data quality and pipeline stability
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, identifying and resolving issues proactively
- Partner with analysts and data scientists to understand their data needs and build efficient data models
- Document data processes and tools, fostering a culture of data transparency and literacy
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering & analytics trends and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics infrastructure
- Proven expertise in SQL data modeling and manipulation using SQL, Python, and dbt
- Experience with data warehousing platforms like Snowflake, dbt
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, etc.) and experience distributing data insights via reports and dashboards
- Experience with data extraction tools preferably Fivetran and API integrations
- Knowledge of data quality and data governance principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, adept at working across teams for translating business needs into actionable dashboards and insights
- Passion for making a positive impact through data-driven solutions

Additional Information
The total target cash compensation for this role will be between $140,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and number of years of experience. Further, cash compensation is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may include stock options and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits.
