As an Analytics Lead (Healthcare Forecasting), you will collaborate closely with the Strategic Analytics & Insights team based in the US, Therapy Areas Insights Directors, Forecasters, Ecosystem Insights Leads, and the broader GATE team. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver Forecasting related solutions, advanced analytics and actionable insights that support strategic priorities, ultimately aiming for the greatest impact with customers and patients.
Your Opportunity

Lead and execute complex projects focusing on Pharma commercial operations, including Forecasting, Brand Performance, Patient Journeys, Product Launch Support, and Marketing return on investment analysis

Collaborate with Therapy Area forecasting teams to ensure alignment and data-driven decision-making

Develop and maintain short-term and long-term forecast models, integrating the latest data and assumptions

Lead forecasting and business planning processes for assigned work streams

Identify and address key business issues affecting forecasts, incorporating competitive intelligence, market research, and access results

Act as a thought partner for stakeholders, leading discussions and delivering high-quality insights and recommendations

Effectively communicate key insights through impactful presentations that influence strategic decisions

Mentor and train junior team members, fostering skill development in analytics and Pharma domain knowledge

Lead discussions and coordination between GATE internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth project delivery

Take an enterprise-focused approach, aligning individual tasks with broader organizational goals, driving business and patient value

Attend cross-time zone meetings (IST/PST overlap) to ensure seamless coordination and delivery
Who you are
-
You hold a bachelor’s degree in Technology or a relevant field, with a preference for Computer Science, Software, Statistics, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering and related fields and 4-8 years of experience in Forecasting or Data Analytics, with at least 2-5 years in Pharma/Biotech/Healthcare-related forecasting projects

Certifications on analytics or data science would be an added advantag

Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and forecasting methodologie

Hands-on experience with SQL and a programming language like Python, R, or SAS

Experience with Dataiku DSS and AI/ML capabilities is a plu

Experience working with secondary data sets like IQVIA Sales, 867 data, LAAD Claims, affiliations, and medical data

Exposure to therapeutic areas such as oncology, neurology, and immunology

Demonstrated ability to present and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders, addressing their questions and concerns

Proven experience in translating complex data and research into concise business narratives that support decision-making
