Health Care Service Corporation seeks Analytics & Reporting Consultant at its facility located at 300 E Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60601.
Create reports, insights and analytics in support of the division; Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs. Provide consultation to users and leading cross functional teams to address the division’s issues. Produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools. Perform research and assisting in analyzing data related to the division’s strategic initiatives and broader research needs. Interface between the business and divisional data teams to generate tools to be leveraged inbuilding analysis and reports which are actionable within the business environment. Work closely with customers to build relationships; continuously gain a deeper understanding of the division’s data in order to meet business needs. Analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Act as the liaison between business and analytical teams; communicate healthcare payer-based business concepts to analytics users. Communicate and market the value of analytics outputs to business users in healthcare payer settings. Liaison between the business stakeholders and the data science team. Support the operationalization of analytics outputs to achieve maximum business value. Optimize the usage and acquisition of data, analytics and reports. Analyze complex business problems which stakeholders face, guide the analytics team in developing solutions for those problems and facilitate successful delivery. Define business needs, determine a strategy, and develop a plan/proposal for delivery of projects. Equate business outcomes with cost-benefit analyses. Write business cases for new information-based solutions. Manage the production of datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools. Create reports, insights and analytics in support of the business. Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs; possibly providing consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues. Produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools; possibly performing research and assist in analyzing data related to the division’s strategic initiatives and broader research needs. Required Job Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in engineering or mathematics or a related field and the applicant must have coursework OR experience:
(1) Management & Analytics;
(2) Applied Consulting; and
(3) Data Analytics.
