As an Analytics Solutions Director in Global Customer Platform, you will identify trends and patterns from ideation to product to implementation and manage multiple initiatives across a matrix structure with various contributors and stakeholders. You will lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you will leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.
Job responsibilities
- Create actionable insights through analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, and build recommendations that address business goals
- Manage analytics team to monitor KPIs, bring awareness to and provide data driven analysis on root cause
- Take ownership of opportunities by presenting recommendations to stakeholders and building consensus on path forward and advocate for the simplest solutions to complex problems
- Serve as a subject matter expert on existing reporting framework, analytical techniques, and best practices
- Represent the Customer Data and Analytics Team in forums with external and internal stakeholders and customers by presenting the team’s business results and accomplishments
- Own the OKRs for Customer Platform and drive the measurement to clearly show the value of modernization while communicating this value and progress to stakeholders and leaders
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to present facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise and convincing manner to cross-functional partners
- Have the ability to communicate openly, be transparent, be open and receptive to diverse ideas from different stakeholders, with the ability to influence and motivate
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certifications on end user technologies, risk management, compliance, control evaluations and 10+ years of applied experience. In addition demonstrated 5+ years of coaching and mentoring experience.
- Passion for understanding the needs of the business and the customer base, to set a clear vision and strategy for the Product. This role will need an understanding of agile software development processes and technologies, (i.e., AWS, SnowFlake, etc.) to transform the product. Being able to analyze large and disparate data sets to extract insights and trends, which will be important in a reporting and insights product. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing data. They will be experienced with defining operational metrics that can be used to measure the value delivered by these products and platforms.
- Understand products, channels, and customers. Grasp the roles and needs of the support functions that enable and operate the space, keeping in mind aspects such as product and design, technology, finance, risk, control, and operations.
- Being able to work with various stakeholders, including executives, business teams, and customers, to understand their needs and priorities and incorporate them into the product.
- Deep understanding of core machine learning algorithms, NLP, LLMs/SLMs, and time series analysis.
- Proven leadership and influencing skills and ability to collaborate across a highly matrixed organization.
- Defining a product roadmap, setting priorities, and executing against that roadmap to deliver value consistently.
- Extensive experience with Python and ML toolkits like TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, and Pandas.
- Adapt to the rapidly changing and maturing functions of Product, Design, and Technology. Demonstrate flexibility to navigate this evolving landscape, and engage in problem-solving to address challenges effectively.
- Manage a team as the Head of a Cross Product function. Utilize leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide your team to achieve the product goals.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Experience in Financial Services, and specifically in customer data management are preferred
- Executive presence, comfortable interacting with, presenting to and influencing senior leaders along with the proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
- Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions; measuring core KPIs.
