Job Description
Hourly Pay Range: $464 – $654 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights: Position: Applications Analyst I – Epic HIM Location: Skokie, IL Full Time Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm Hybrid role Job Summary: As an Application Analyst I at Endeavor Health, you will be responsible for supporting an assigned application portfolio, including designing, documenting, implementing, and testing software or application solutions. A key focus is the efficient monitoring and management of issue resolution through timely ticket closure. You will also participate in implementation of new workflows and products in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. To be successful in this role, you will be expected to learn the latest solutions and technologies and advocate for the adoption of industry best practices.
This position will support our HIM team, including but not limited to; Epic HIM ROI, DT, Identity and Coding. What you will do: Assist in designing, documenting, implementing and testing software/application solutions.
Monitor and manage the timely resolution/closure of assigned tickets. Participates in vendor calls on issues/upgrades. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
Prepare documentation and reports related to projects following established procedures. Participate in integrated workgroups/projects. Stay up to date on the latest trends and innovations in relevant technologies.
Other duties as assigned. What you will need: Education: HS Diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: Without bachelor’s degree, four (4) years of relevant IT experience or relevant end user experience Unique or Preferred Skills: Epic certification in HIM ROI, DT, Identity and/or Coding. Able to communicate with operational/senior leadership with no direction or coaching.
Promotes effect written and verbal communication among peers across the organization and executive leadership. Serves as a key point person for technical and operational leadership for problem resolution and project management. Able to provide technical leadership, guidance, and coaching with little to no supervision.
Utilizes effective analytical and troubleshooting skills with no assistance at an expert level. Continually seeks to utilize technology to improve systems and procedures/processes. Typically resolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist.
Able to operate with substantial latitude in acting and making decisions without supervision. Able to mentor and educate junior team members. Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
