The European, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Sales and Marketing Group (SMG) is an international team of sales and marketing professionals spanning both commercial and technical sales, Industry Centre of Excellence teams, marketing, and sales operations. It’s a very fast paced, dynamic, and exciting environment. We are looking for technical and architectural expert in Gen AI, large language models and fine tunning to work across our organization, and partners, to work with customers to solve their key business challenges. We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect located anywhere in Europe, Middle East or Africa.
You will lead the most complex and challenging customer’s Gen AI and LLM workloads in EMEA, and define across the eco system solutions that show case Intels products and technologies. You will demonstrate Customer Obsession, representing the voice of the customer as you work across teams and partners. You will have the opportunity to speak at conferences, publish articles, and serve as the compass in the Gen AI and LLM domain.
In this commissioned technical sales role, a successful candidate will be responsible for:

Influencing and driving adoption and preference for Intel-based solutions for Artificial Intelligence across different verticals with particular focus on Large Language Models, Gen AI and Fine Tuning.

Helping drive revenue growth by accelerating the adoption of Intel based AI solution architectures that showcase Intel’s advanced products and technologies, for Gen AI and Large language models.

Leverage expert understanding of deployment landscape, industry ecosystem, software stacks, and adjacent technologies to develop and execute multi-year strategies that build upon overall routes to market initiatives.

Synthesizes data about customer and partner business and technical requirements, addresses them with technical architectures, and demonstrates capabilities of Intel solutions through design sessions with the customer/partner.

Supports Regional Sales Account Executives and Industry Technical Specialists in design and deal win engagements in Artificial Intelligence projects by delivering Intel AI solution, platform and portfolio value propositions and providing ongoing technical support on briefings.

Built and set up AI environments, workloads, and frameworks with latest Intel AI technologies and products to deploy AI use cases (Gen AI and LLM) . Architect end to end AI solutions to solve the most complex customer problems using Intel based products.

Understanding the business use cases, technical merits and TCO Intel value propositions on AI, as well as the competitive landscape. Identifying gaps and opportunities, and putting in place strategies to address, win and deploy solutions based on Intel AI technologies.

Manages end-customer technical relationships, provides technical expertise with the customers, technology partners/ISVs/Sis/CSP/OEM and Intel business unit development teams to create new solutions, software, and service optimizations through technical engagement and utilization of Intel product capabilities across the solution stack.

Enables development and growth of product features through customer feedback and proof-of-concept evaluations.
A successful candidate will: Employ ‘solution selling’ methodologies to influence within the customer organization and Intel and drive customer requirements and market needs into actionable goals.

Demonstrated strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence for Gen AI and LLM technologies. Possess a strong understanding of various Artificial Intelligence frameworks with hands on expertise.

Have delivered large scale complex AI solutions deployed either on premises or on 3rd party cloud (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).

Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, within the account team and with business unit and partner teams, coordinating the right resources to get the job done, taking ownership, or handing off where appropriate.

Learn from, collaborate with, and influence the brightest technical minds in the industry to share best-practice knowledge amongst the AI community (within Intel and ecosystem partners)

Encapsulate customer-/market-feedback into the Intel business-units/development teams to shape future product/technologies.

Utilize excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks in a very interrupt driven environment including pipeline management.

Stay current and familiar with emerging vertical and horizontal technologies, products, and technology trends.

Thrive in a fast paced, collaborative and at times, ambiguous environment.

Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. Good relationship building skills are necessary, including the ability to build a rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of Intel and the customer.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
At least 10 years of experience in a technical sales role within a medium to large organization with a strong track record of selling technical solutions, with experience in one or more of the following:
- Defining AI solutions architectures working with eco systems players to drive value for customers.
- Building AI models that have gone into production, both classical machine learning, deep learning, gen AI and large language models
- AI inference and training on prem and in the cloud, on GPU and on CPU- AI deployments at scale at the edge and across verticals (healthcare, FSI, retail, manufacturing etc)
- Experience on mainstream frameworks tools like Caffe, TensorFlow, Theano, Pytorch, R, Spark MLib, etc
- Proficiency in C/C++/Python/Bash- Prior usage or experience with Intel tools like oneAPI, OpenVino, Analytics Zoo is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading or developing high quality, enterprise scale software products using a structured system development lifecycle.

Enterprise IT experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on software development, operations, DevOps engineering, or systems architecture

Master’s degree or Ph.D. in AI field

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
