Ever wondered what it feels like to be an Associate Data Engineer in Netcompany-Intrasoft?

Joining us as an Associate Data Engineer, you will work with relational databases, SQL, big data tools such as PySpark and Spark SQL, and orchestration tools like Apache Airflow. You will collaborate with other data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to support the development and optimization of data pipelines

As an Associate Data Engineer you will:

  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes. 
  • Write and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data into various systems. 
  • Utilize PySpark and Spark SQL in Notebooks (e.g., Jupyter, Databricks) to process and analyze datasets in distributed computing environments. 
  • Support the use of orchestration tools like Apache Airflow to schedule and monitor data workflows. 
  • Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to ensure seamless data integration across systems. 
  • Ensure data quality and consistency by implementing data validation mechanisms. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to data processing and system performance. 

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • 1-3 years of experience in data engineering or a related field. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. 
  • Good knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, IBM DB2, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL, and proficiency in SQL. 
  • Basic experience with PySpark and Spark SQL for processing and querying datasets. 
  • Familiarity with using Notebooks (e.g., Jupyter, Databricks) for testing data workflows. 
  • Understanding of Apache Airflow or similar tools for managing data workflows. 
  • Basic understanding of ETL/ELT processes. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Good communication skills and a tea 
  • m-oriented mindset. 

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for data manipulation and automation. 
  • Understanding of cloud platforms like MS Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus.
