Job Description

As an Associate Data Quality Analyst at Lightcast, your role will involve addressing reported data issues by developing solutions. You will focus on identifying and resolving data quality problems, conducting investigations and research on data anomalies, and providing solutions by troubleshooting issues.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day research on Data sets from various sources.
  • Understand support issue tickets raised for/by the clients and work with various stakeholders to do Root Cause Analysis and get solutions for each of them.
  • Organize data in prefabricated templates and analyze it to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to generate data driven reports and scenarios for getting the latest trends.
  • Design queries on historical data, to extract Job Market Data.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, presenting findings and insights clearly, concisely, and compellingly.
  • Solutions are converted into fixes over affected data slices of the specific date and timeline ranges to align the historical data with the trend.
  • Contribute to advancing the organization’s data science capabilities by sharing knowledge, best practices, and insights with the broader team.
  • Enthusiastic to collaborate with various teams across the globe.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong SQL or Excel skills with aptitude for learning other analytics tools
  • Proficiency in Python, Database Management System, Snowflake and AWS.
  • Familiar with tools such as  Gitlab, JIRA, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash Kibana)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and the ability to design new and effective solutions when no suitable approaches are available.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to handle and analyze large volumes of text data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical models.
  • Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports and presentations
  • Passion for solving challenging issues

Experience and Education

  • Graduates / Post Graduates or Freshers from any stream. (Except M.E, M. Tech, MBA).
  • Fluency in English (oral and written) is a prerequisite.
  • Attention to details and good interpersonal skills
  • Decision-making, and meeting tight deadlines would be the order of the day
  • Good to have got experience in working with Big Data, Data Modeling, Data Analysis, Data Manipulation Tools and Techniques.
  • Help prepare periodic reports as part of KPI measures.
