WHY WE THINK YOU WILL LOVE THIS ROLE Assists with engineering development of promotional toy products with a focus on plastic, plush, and paper executions. Responsible for maintaining engineering documentation, prototypes, and samples. Provide engineering input/solutions to the internal development teams to help deliver products that are creative, safe, reliable, manufacturable, within cost parameters, and on time.

Research and propose design solutions through sketches or prototypes during concept generation, model development, and pre-production stages. Support client and licensor concept/model/pre-production presentations.

Develop specification packages to communicate and optimize product designs. Estimate concept costs to help steer development towards the established cost targets. Participate in daily team meetings.

Maintain all design engineering documentation including, but not limited to, design concepts, approval forms, change forms, prototypes, and pre-production samples. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION BS in Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering, or equivalent2 years work experience preferred SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE Excellent problem-solving and communication skillsExperience with plastic toy development is highly preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop preferred.
