Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Global Services is seeking an Associate Flight Simulator Technical Data Specialist to assist in the technical support of flight simulation data packages for Training and Simulation Digital Services (T&SDS) group in Seattle, WA.  

Training and Simulation Digital Services provides data, software, hardware, and other services to airlines and training centers that operate simulators representing Boeing aircraft.  The successful candidate will have strong communication and project management skills, with ability to apply critical thinking to partner and coordinate support from BCA Engineering teams, and a quality mindset to ensure we provide world class support to our customers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the research and coordination of responses to Simulator Data Service Requests from assignment through to completion to resolve a wide variety of customer flight simulator operations issues. Work with various Boeing and Supplier technical organizations to ensure a coordinated and complete response.
  • Understanding customer needs and being an advocate for the customer.
  • Understanding customer contract content and obligations.
  • Project management experience in a customer support role.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements.  To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Associate’s degree or higher.
  • 1+ years in project management including interfacing with suppliers, partnerships, and/or customers.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):  

  • Strong communication and technical writing skills
  • Experience with flight training simulators or simulation
  • Experience with Boeing commercial products

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range:  $61.200 – $82,800.
