Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Associate Flight Technical Data Specialist (FCOM) to support their team based in Seal Beach, CA.
The Flight Technical Data Specialist supports the creation and maintenance of the Flight Crew Operations Manual (FCOM) and Quick Reference Handbook (QRH).
Position Responsibilities:
- Assists with analysis and development of flight crew operations procedures, task listings, operations manuals, pilot’s checklists and/or the software/data
- Converts engineering data for use by flight crews
- Assists with the development, revision and instruction of flight crew training materials
- Assists with consultation related to in-flight emergencies and accidents
- Assists with the collection of information on customer publishing systems and digital data needs
- Assists with obtaining regulatory authority certification/approval of operation and engineering documents
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Seal Beach, CA.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 1+ years of experience using the Microsoft Office Application Suite such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- 1+ years of experience in a team-based environment
- 1+ years of experience working in a fast paced, high volume environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ years of experience in support of aerospace products, including commercial or military airplane flight operations
- Experience working with Flight Crew Operations (Pilots, flight crew)
- Publication Experience (Adobe frame, SQL Databases, XML, Python)
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years’ related work experience, 7 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $68,850 – $93,150
